My sustained investigation reflects the bonds between my family, the contrast between relationships and isolation using color in specific locations. I wanted to incorporate my family into my pieces because they have always been very supportive of my art. This is also my last year that I am intending on taking an art class, so I wanted to dedicate my pieces to my family who has always been so supportive. To show the importance of them in my life, I wanted to show the bonds through colors to convey the brightness and happiness they bring to me, just by being together in a picture. I also wanted to show a contrast of me with my family and me isolated from my family with the depletion of color.

     Even the pieces I’ve made that weren’t a part of my sustained investigation were greatly influenced by my family. I dedicate my pieces of art to my supportive family.
