Discovering personality patterns

IMG_3688.HEIC

I choose to be in AP art because I have always had a love for art and challenging myself. This year might be the last time I will truly do art so I wanted to challenge my talents and create some amazing pieces that I will be able to look back on.  Next year I am going off to college and I am not going to be taking art classes like I am in high school.  So I am taking this time to create art of my friends, the people who have been with me all of high school and have made my high school experiences ones to remember.

Art is important to me because I am able to use my talents to bring joy in my life and the lives of others.  It makes me happy and satisfied that I am able to create things that don’t just make me happy but others too. Another importance is the way that it has helped me with my future.  Art has helped me to also decide on what career path I want to go in life.  When looking for a major I wanted to incorporate all the things I loved in school.  This was art, psychology, and being sociable and together I got marketing.  With marketing I plan on doing sales.  My background in art will help me be able to create advertisements that are pleasing to the eye and be able to help clients sell their products.

I would like to thank my art teachers Mr. Koons and Mrs. Hall for being amazing teachers and helping me pursue my love for art, inspiring me to continue, and assuring me that I can do any piece I dreamed of.  My classmates for always pushing me to do better but also helping me figure out how to get better.  For Reese and Jack for making me excited for the mornings and being in school so early.  For my parents for always believing in me, for always being excited to see my pieces and always supporting me.  To my boyfriend for being rock.  And lastly to my friends for being my inspiration.
