Methacton AP ART PROGRAM 

Expectations  and information about our Methacton AP Art program:

​

1.  Your son/daughter should be putting an extra 8 hours a week into their artwork to progress successfully with the class.

2.  All students who enroll in this class are expected to take the College Board AP Art exam

3.  Your son/daughter should take this course if they are able to commit to the hours that are necessary to succeed.  

4.  Students learn in a community of peers who offer opinions and suggestions during the learning process.  

5.  Most supplies are offered here in the art rooms, however if your child needs a specific material, he or she will be expected to purchase it.  

6.  There will be offerings of studio time after school hours so that students can complete individual work

7.  Art created in the AP course can be used for their portfolios for college acceptances
